1967 PONTIAC G.T.O. - "Survivor"

H.O. 4 SPEED 400 C.I. / 360 H.P.

21,193 ORIGINAL MILES !

This iconic Pontiac Muscle car was built the fourth week of May 1967 at the Framingham, Massachusetts assembly plant and delivered to Pontiac dealer Breitfeller’s Sales, Inc. in Queens, New York, where it was purchased by Mr. Robert Scott of Bergenfield, NJ on July 22, 1967. I became the fifth owner in February 2004 when the car had a total of only 20,377 original miles. It remains in spectacular original condition and is accompanied by full documentation including the Original Title, Bill of Sale, Protect-O-Plate, both owner manuals, complete owner history, and of course Pontiac Historical Services.

This 1967 Pontiac GTO is one of the most original in existence, and was recognized with the Bob Laidlein Award for Most Original at the 2007 Lowe’s Motor Speedway Fall AutoFair. With only 21,215 documented miles on the odometer, it still retains 80 percent of its original Starlight Black finish on very straight original sheet metal. The Red interior is completely original and in outstanding condition, as is the entire drivetrain. The 400 cubic inch, 360-horsepower H.O. V-8 engine has been repainted and detailed but otherwise remains as it left the factory. In addition, it won First Place in the Survivor Class at the 2009 “Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge” event in Tennessee.

Paired up with its modern descendant, a matching 2006 Pontiac GTO boasting 400 horsepower, from its all-aluminum LS2 V-8 coupled to a Tremec T56 6-speed manual transmission. Like its older sibling, it sports the classic Black-on-Red muscle car color scheme; with only 7,500 actual miles, it is as original as you will find. Together, these matching Pontiac GTO’S comprise the most original pair of their kind in existence !

1973 Chevy “Family Farm Truck”

This truck was bought new by my Great Uncle Roy Brunker, 7-24-1973 at Ed Roberts Chevrolet, inc., Bonner Springs,Kansas. Of coarse with just a few options like a 265 ci. Straight 6,am radio,a cigarette lighter,& a rubber floor mat, it was a true farm truck. Every summer when school would let out, we would all pile in the family car and head to Kansas for a week of work ! One of the high lights was driving the white farm truck, which I started driving in the fields in 1973. Unfortunately Great Uncle Roy passed away in 1985 and I was the lucky one to get this cool truck & still have it to this day.

After talking to my uncles & cousins,Uncle Roy used to have a few cold beers on a hot Kansas day driving down the back roads. A few times he would find his way in the ditch & stuck. Having to get a tractor to get out.

After building a few small block chevy engines,to replace the straight 6,& a paint job it was time for a complete restoration .Starting in 1997 and taking 10 months to finish. After I stripped the whole truck apart, it was time to get busy.

The frame was sent out to get sandblasted & Keco coated. The rest of the hardware for the chasis was treated to the same, with all bolts, nuts& washers getting Teflon coating. This engine was built for fun,a 355ci.,topped with a B&M 144 power charger, putting out 6 lbs. of boost ! A turbo 400 transmission,& a custom rear end housing with 3.73:1 gears & 4 wheel disc brakes ! Custom 2 1/2” exhaust system. The set of Boyd’s Billett wheels were a Christmas present one year,my friend ran Boyd’s wheel shop & his dad worked directly for Boyd. I then purchased the Boyds steering wheel to match. This is a truck that will always stay in the Brunker family.
